Election: The Elections Committee consists of the Chair, who is in charge of counting ballots and turning those numbers in to the President and Secretary. They then send all ballots to the Secretary for verification and to be archived.
Merchandise: The members of the Merchandise Committee are the folks who come up with the designs and pricing for all of our unique Harlequin & Club merchandise. It also sends all notices to the club and responds to new breeder inquiries. The Chair writes reports on the committee activity for the quarterly newsletter and reports activities at Member meetings.
Guidebook: Currently this committee is working on a large Anthology edition of the AHRC Guidebook to commemorate our 50 years as a club. This includes sourcing articles, writing articles, adding photos, editing, selling ad space, quoting printing price and presenting that price to the AHRC Board for approval. This committee is currently holding multiple meetings per month which club members not on the committee are invited to attend. Historical: The AHRC Historical Committee collects, stores and keeps organized all breed/club history. This includes old newsletters, guidebooks, breed presentations, photographs, etc. They are also the Club liaisons between AHRC and the ARBA Library. The Historical Committee is always accepting donations of photos, documents, etc. For more information please contact the chair. Standards: The duties of the Standards Committee is loosely defined in the ARBA Standard of Perfection. Items that pass are written up along with reasons for the requested change and sent to the ARBA Standards Committee for review and hopefully, acceptance.
